Szymon Urbanski

Szymon Urbanski (Born 1963) is known for Painting.

In 1983-84 he studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Lódz. He continued his artistic education at the painting faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 1988 he received a diploma from the studio of prof. Stefan Gierowski. In 1987, he was the author of a monumental painting on the supports and pillars of the Grota-Rowecki Bridge in Warsaw. For this work he received the Award. H. Stazewski, for the best painting arrangement in space, awarded by the Egit Foundation. In the same year, he made his debut at an exhibition organized by A. Bonarski in the former Norblin Plant in Warsaw. In 1989, he began working with Galeria Zderzak in Krakow. In the years 1989-1998 he collaborated with the Spicchi dell'Este Gallery in Rome. His works were exhibited at R. Ziarkiewicz's exhibition "Paradise Lost" at the Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw (1990).
